Katahdin

On the third floor with its own private, inside stairway, Katahdin is the perfect romantic getaway. There are windows on three sides with views of Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park, the woods behind the house, and the gardens. Trees everywhere! In fact, the room feels very much like a large tree house. In the sitting area there is a wing back chair, a window seat, an old-fashioned-style cast-iron propane stove, and a writing desk. The bed is queen-sized with a brass frame and the private ensuite bath has the charming original claw foot tub (converted now to a combination tub/shower). The room has a television and high speed Wi-Fi, complimentary gourmet breakfast, on-site parking and concierge services.

Katahdin is on the third floor of the inn and is not accessible by wheelchair.
