Governor Davis Suite

Named after the innkeeper’s great great grandfather, Maine governor Daniel Davis, this elegant suite is the original master bedroom. This room has been recently redecorated in blue and white, with custom bedding and curtains. It has wonderful architectural details, a king mahogany sleigh bed, and an oriental carpet. Curl up in front of the fire by the old-fashioned-style gas stove, or relax with a good book in the wing chair. The private ensuite bathroom has a bathtub and shower.

The second room can be used as a private space for reading, working, or relaxing. It can also be used as a second bedroom for one additional guest. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa bed and big, double hung windows that provide a view of the front garden and the neighborhood. The suite is air-conditioned and has a television as well as high-speed Wi-Fi.
